5-Day Garden of God, Mpanga Kipengere, and Matema Beach

Meet and greet our representative from Tiem Tours and Safaris at the lodge/Hotel you are staying in Iringa town Centre and will give you a quick briefing. You will start your journey to Mpanga Kipengere (Kimani Waterfalls). Our journey can take 4 hours. Upon arrive at the park gate our guide and park ranger will lead you to hike the famous Kimani Water falls with ensured safety. Expect to see a bunch of unique flora and fauna, scenic beauty and Cultural heritage features, as well as the Kimani water falls which is the iconic attraction for Mpanga’s forest. The Kipengere Mountain is surrounded by a beautiful plateau and glass-land. This makes premier destination for trekking and hiking; here, you will see the Chief Mkwawa’s hideout site.

Sharp morning breakfast at your campsite, then transfer to Kitulo National Park. Our driver guide will give you a history of Kitulo/Garden of God, and you will understand where the name comes from and get the chance to see endemic species of butterfly, chameleon, lizard, and frog, further enhancing the biological wealth of God’s Garden. Unique and the only one of its kind in Africa for natural orchids and birds. In the evening, you will come back just for dinner and an overnight stay.
